Self-taught and with a distinctive, informal and powerful voice Leonina writes their thoughts on social justice issues on Medium where they have won top writer awards for their writings on Intersectional Feminism. They write for various publications and zines.

Leonina was commissioned in the Spring of 2018 by the Virginia Anti Violence Project to create and perform a Spanish monologue for NERVE: Stories of Queer Resilience at the Richmond Triangle Players/Robert B. Moss Theater.
